Fuchsia Show 2017

In this, our 50th year, the show was restricted to quite a small room because we could no longer have our large marquee at the Wyevale  Garden Centre.  Because of the restricted space we had to reduce the number of classes and the number entered by each person to one or two per class.

We had 16 members making 89 entries in 25 classes for the show which resulted in 96 pots and baskets being exhibited.

All things considered we had a wonderful show and I am very proud of every member who helped put the show together and whatever was asked of them they performed their tasks admirably in a very friendly, efficient manner.  Well done!

Bob Malin - Show Secretary

Awarded Best in Show for their fuchsia Insulinde in the Triphylla class are Clive and Tracey Gould.  The Ray Campbell Trophy was presented by our President, Ernie Sayers.

Chris Woolston received the Harris Cup from our President, Ernie Sayers, for his entry in the Encliandra class of fuchsia Marlies de Keijzer which was awarded Runner Up to the Best in Show.
